"With Miguel Montalvo's spare set and striking costumes, Jason Mullen's effective lighting and Robert Oriol's evocative sound design and original music, the designers handle the many creative and technical challenges well." - Backstage.com
"Director Michael Michetti has an affinity for this kind of material and succeeds in honoring the emotional life of the play while illuminating its bizarre originality. Production credits are brilliantly in sync with this vision. Miguel Montalvo's set and costume designs enhance the characters. The way Jacob Browne's props and furniture are pulled on and off stage is a show in itself. Jason Mullen's lighting design licks and shadows the production augmented by Rob Oriol's haunting sound design." - Curtain Up
"Michetti's minimalist staging imbues Callaghan's sour-sweet poetry with cinematic fluidity. Miguel Montalvo's white-on-white set and witty costumes allow Jason Mullen's lighting and Rob Oriol's sound maximum density. Kiff Scholl's projections and Jacob Browne's props are crucial, and the players are remarkable." - LA Times
